National Public Health Week Art Contest 2023

JMC Participates in Art Contest Celebrating National Public Health Week National Public Health Week celebrates comprehensive health and wellness practices for individuals and communities. In this article, we highlight the winners and submissions of an art contest that promoted diverse aspects of public health. The artworks centered around cultural celebration, community engagement, violence prevention, reproductive and sexual health, mental health, and rural health.

JMC Team Submissions and Donation: The JMC team actively participated in the art contest by submitting multiple entries that depicted various public health topics. These submissions aimed to raise awareness, inspire dialogue, and advocating for positive change.

We are delighted to congratulate Sofia, age 9, the daughter of JMC team member Andrea Prada, for being one of the winners in the art contest. Her artwork beautifully captured the essence of community engagement and the importance of collective action in promoting public health.  With this painting, she wanted to represent the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of vaccines, medical treatment, and collaboration between different people around the world to win the battle against COVID-19.  Sofia's talent and creativity were truly remarkable, and her contribution to the contest deserves special recognition.

JMC also made a generous donation to support National Public Health Week. We believe in the importance of fostering a healthier nation and supporting initiatives that address public health challenges across diverse communities.

We extend our congratulations to Sofia, age 9, for her outstanding artwork and commend the JMC team for their multiple submissions. Through art and generous contributions, we can foster a healthier nation that prioritizes the well-being of all, making a lasting impact on public health.
